Director of Acoustic MEMS LabThe Acoustic MEMS group conducts scientific/tech. projects under the guidance of Dr. Alper Şişman. Currently the lab has one post-doc., one PhD. and 4 MSc. students. We also strongly encourage undergraduate student participation through the senior design projects.

Our research group strives to explore versatile applications of advanced acoustics: 1. sensors&microfabrication strategies for the development of surface wave/Lamb wave devices, 2. biomedical devices, 3. guided wave filters/devices and 4. Microfluidics apps. based on acoustophoresis. 

We also have studies to design digital sensor driver/reader circuitry: FPGA/µC based embedded systems. ACOUSTIC
